Field trip, yay!

Hi, everyone! I hope you're all having a great weekend. :)

Still checking your midterms and constantly being blown away. I'm really proud of you guys. *dabs eyes*

Anyway, for more Art Studies goodness, there's going to be a Laguna field trip soon (details below). It's set for either September 27 or October 4 --whichever date has more sign-ups. The more the merrier so I hope everyone can join. You may leave comments here or sign up this coming Wednesday. See you then!

Awesome street art (Thanks, Teresa! :)

"Dies Irae" by Kurt Wenner

Kurt Wenner born in Ann Arbor, Michigan is an artist best known for his realistic street painting and chalk murals using a projection called anamorphosis. (Wikipedia)

A famous work with anamorphosis is Holbein's "The Ambassadors" (1533). Can you guess what that thing is at the bottom-center of the painting?

Modern Noh performance

Hello, you wonderful people! :)

This is just to remind/invite everyone to watch "The Italian Restaurant," a modern Noh play, today 3 pm & 6 pm, at the Aldaba Theater. (Tickets at P75, available at the gate.) It'll be great and nothing like you've ever seen before.

Thanks and see you Wednesday for more Art Studies goodness. :D
