- Server Hardware Failure
Last week-end, one of our dedicated servers named Gravatar suffered a hard drive problem which caused several downtime times during the week and the primary drive finally gave up last Saturday.
The system would not reboot and a hard drive scan revealed it was corrupted. We then dispatched the Data Center Engineers to replace the hard drive and reload the operating system. This has been completed now.
We are still in the process of re-installing all the rest of the modules on the server and will begin restoring the individual accounts and reseller accounts from the main server or from the backup drive, whichever has the latest data and are intact.
We apologize for this incident but it is one of the things we cannot prevent (i.e. crashed hard drive) from happening. We have the backups but we are trying to get the latest live data restored first so nothing will be missing from your accounts.
We will update you as soon we we make progress in account restoration.
